Building an enemy spacecraft model out of very recognizable items.

In my model making book series, this is an enemy attack force that invades our heroes home world.

I thought that it would be fun to make the craft out of a couple of cordless drills.

I was pretty happy with how it looked. Once joined together, it was then detailed with a few kit parts and electrical components.
